Planet Ripple- 138- Plugging in

Here, we just get glimpses of the machine and how Minnow interfaces with it, but there's a second, extended sequence that goes into greater detail in the second part of the book.

Keep in mind the first two books were originally set to be one giant 300 page monster, showing her time at the navy. That would've cost people $50 per copy though, and most people would've been scared away by that price tag. So I found a good place to split it down the middle and made the first half (mostly) free, focusing on her civilian life.

yeah that does seem like a good choice

It's not just a Zuit! It's THE Zuit!

Practically is using the Psycho Drive.

'Fraid I wasn't very familiar with Gundam Unicorn when I came up with all this.

Well, I was thinking Gundam Thunderbolt that I mentioned before. The way Minnow's "arms" connect to the zuit is the same how Daryl's ally was testing the arms on the Psycho Gundam in the manga (he has artificial arms).

That reminds me, Gundam Thunderbolt is in its second season, taking place on Earth and in more aquatic and icy environments. You can watch the second episode for a limited amount of time, and maybe you'll find some interesting designs from the mobile suits to use for your zuits.

Oh, damn. This is some of the most creative and visceral action I've seen since G Gundam. I like the waggly arms and the snow sled feet. That song at the end sounds extremely familiar.

Well, when I was at the Gundam Thunderbolt panel last year in Anime Expo, the music composer was there to explain that he was directed to create jazz and pop music specifically for this series.

Yeah, but that specific song sounds beat for beat like a song I think might've been done by Muse? Like this is a Japanese tribute to it.

WAAA-na-naa, naa-naa-NAAAAH!

This looks cool!  The mech still reminds me a smaller and more humanized Graze Ein or Psycho Zaki.
