I know how she feels real badly.

Her brain works differently and she's confused by physical gestures. Is she autistic?

YEP! dingdingding! Winner!

Just like me and my asperger's. Just because I'm high functioning doesn't mean I function properly.
Osmostrix's avatar
Yeah, that would get pretty confusing.

Lil' bit. Having shoulders that don't feel the difference doesn't help.
Gusindor's avatar
It's probably extra confusing for her, because with prosthetic arms it could be harder to feel the difference between an affectionate pat and an angry grab.

Oh my gosh, I didn't even think of that. I mean... I assume she still feels some pressure from the mechanical parts tugging at her shoulder, but that would only go so far.
Gusindor's avatar
Oh, did you mean it as an auspie thing? Sorry, I didn't realize.
Gusindor's avatar
Oh, okay. Sorry, I don't really know that much about autism (I've been trying to educate myself, but there's a lot to take in) so I can't always tell what about Minnow is an autism symptom and what's not.

I was just thinking about the time I needed stitches for something on my back. They made me numb in the exact spot, but I could still feel the skin around that area being tugged here and there. It wasn't painful, it was just tension.
Gusindor's avatar
I had a similar experience one time when I got stitches on my head. No pain, just a gentle tugging. I'm sure it would've hurt a lot without the numbing though.

How much sensation does Minnow get through her limbs? She seems able to hold things without difficulty, so I imagine she gets at least some kind of feedback from her hands.
NickOnPlanetRipple's avatar
Nothing. She later describes as watching someone else's limbs do what he brain tells them to.

It's kind of like the difference between something "is sh*t" and something "is the sh*t".
NickOnPlanetRipple's avatar
Yeah, something like that.

What's that pink thing on her head?
NickOnPlanetRipple's avatar
Her hair will grow back over the scar.

I think it's her head. Her head must have been damaged in the battle, requiring stitches.
