As far as I can remember, Philly Right hasn't been used for any videos or podcasts. It's not a theme song. It wasn't a gift for anyone. It never had any lyrics. And it was never used as a beat for any rap tracks. That makes it a rarity on 7 Star Sky Flash Kick, which is an album full of songs that have had other lives.
Artistically, this weird decade-old song has been very important to me. It was the first track I recorded that used my electro / surf / funk sound. And it was completely improvised, something which is an integral part of my recording process nowadays.
