Barrens breakdown by NickACJones Barrens breakdown by NickACJones
Start to head out into toward the country and you begin coming across old, abandoned vehicles in the strangest places. This heap is in a creek in Owings Mills, Maryland's Soldiers Delight Natural Environmental Area, which has undergone extensive work to keep it as a serpentine barren and preserve numerous endangered native species. One would think that the very first thing that would have been done would've been the extraction of a rusty old car which is quite obviously not a natural feature of the terrain, but common sense often doesn't seem to apply in these cases.

Great depth and definition.  I suppose by this point, it's habitat, and getting rid of it would do more damage than leaving it!
