This is a slightly Photoshopped version of the amazing "River Styx" by

Check out the original and you can play spot the difference!

Thanks Ann, for letting me play around with your awesome picture. Even though I have brought out some highlights and detail, I think I have lost the overall gloom and despair of the original.

Fantastic job Nick! You got the glow on the lights exactly how I was trying to get them, and couldn't! I like the fact you can see more details now...much better! Thank you!

Thanks alot Ann, but just as I was about to write this comment, Jordan came in and looked at your original, and Version 3, and had this to say; " I like the original because pictures with skeletons and ghosts are more often dark and gloomy."

How can I argue with that expert opinion?

:giggle: Well, in a sense, he's right...like they say "out of the mouths of babes" ;-)
but, I think both versions have their own qualities and both look good :aww:

 Hey...I just noticed you're a subscriber now? Are there any real benefits?

Hi Ann, how are you? Yes I am subscibed thanks to my nephew Jason (Heavy251) [link] who bought it for my birthday. Actually, Jason was the one that encouraged me to Join DA in the first place, so I have him to blame for this addiction.

As far as I can see, the browsing is more advanced - it shows all watched deviations and messages on one page, instead of individually, and I think you can customise your page, prints etc, and have more advanced statistical stuff. It's not really that expensive I guess, but I'm not sure if I will use all the features. I will let you know when my 3 months subscription ends wether I found it worthwhile or not.

Hi back Nick  I'm well thank you...hope you are too!
I was considering getting a subscription...but, couldn't really see any major benefits to being a paid member, so decided not to go that route. Besides, I get quite frustrated with the constant revamping and tweaking on this site that causes errors and problems for the members (paid and free alike, I assume)...I would be more upset with all the aggravation as a paid member. As a free member, I think "eh...you get what you pay for".
Thanks for letting me know how it goes!

Yep, I thoroughly agree with you Ann. Besides our hard work isn't really that secure in DA, we are all taking a risk uploading our pictures - some people will rip them off and use them for commercial purposes - why should we pay for that! And to be honest. I'm not sure I have the time to customise my web page and take advantage of everything subscription has to offer.
