So there's a story behind this one.

It's April last year, and I'm with my bro Andrew. We'd previously gone to the city together with our cameras, and this time around he'd suggested we visit Warrandyte. It was a nice change to the city, ducks and geese were cruising down the river, people were walking their dogs, and the weather was alright.

We got to an open area were some people were having a picnic of sorts, kids feeding ducks and dogs chasing eachother, when two young women came from around the corner warning everyone that there was a snake. They were weirdly calm and practical about it "I don't want to alarm anyone, but just a warning, there's a snake over there." I was squatting down taking photos of ducks. I looked up at Andrew and it was almost a race to get there first. They seemed taken aback, but we brandished our cameras and they understood.

Well. You can see the photo above. It's not a snake. There was a moment of "Where?" "THERE!" ... "Where?" but eventually we saw the little thing, frozen stiff but for it's pounding heart.
