Amy Winehouse caricature

My final piece for my Editorial Illustration class on the Celebrity Scandals project. I chose Amy Winehouse, because I had heard of her drug abuse, weight issues and tamperamental attitute, so I researched her life, her behavior, her movements, any specific gestures, faces she makes....and I ended up with this. I fear I have made her far too ugly in order to depict how the addiction and weight loss has had a negative influence on her appearance...but this is my first official caricature after all...I think I can excuse myself a couple of mistakes....
Anyway, after this piece I have decided to work on creating caricatures of other famous people....
