The Terrible Twosome by NicGiraffe The Terrible Twosome by NicGiraffe
Brooklyn (shih tzu) on the left, Phoenix (jack russell terrier/miniature poodle mix) on the right. Don't be decieved by the cute act. These are vile, bestial creatures who have taken the life of many a brave man.

I've been down that road with dogs' appearances being deceiving. I had a shih tzu some years back whom was a total territorial moron. One of the reasons why I'm a cat person. Though, my neighbors own a shih tzu, he is also territorial and not the sharpest tool in the shed. :P

*L* I didn't know you had owned a shih tzu. They're generally nice dogs, but sometimes you do get the odd ill-mannered dog. Ours' is sweet with us and most visitors, but everytime we take her out on a walk, she flips her skull and acts aggresive towards cars, pple, etc. From what I understand, her father was super-aggressive, so that may play a part in why she acts the way she does.

Yup, I had one some years back but a little while after my mom & I moved, he was hit by a car. :( I guess I ended up with one of the odd ill-tempered ones. Well, that can happen. Our neighbors' isn't a bad dog, he's just loud & territorial towards me and some visitors. Even when I'm in my own backyard or at the back door. I like admiring other people's dogs and don't mind or am tolerant in the presence of 'em when I'm visiting people, but I just don't want to live with anymore dogs. I'm more of the cat type.

Ah, okay. Yeah, I can understand that. BTW, sorry to hear that about your dog. :( Our first dog was struck by a car as well.

Ah, sorry 'bout your dog. That's happened to our other dog (a black lab) a while ago. Dang, we both have bad luck with dogs, don't we?

Thanks. You lost another dog as well? That sucks. :-/ It seems that way, doesn't it?

The dog that was killed was our first one, and we didn't really know what we were getting into back then when we got him. But I like to think that I can take care of a dog now that I'm older and wiser.

Ah yeah, I get ya. I feel that way with a lot of things, we can do better with what we did or what we got when we're older and wiser.

Glowing eyes = evil. Like those alien kids from "Village Of The Damned".

Thanks for the warning and thanks for sharing this pic. Yeah, I know all too well how cute doggies can be deceptively dangerous. One of my dogs (a young adult black Lab) is downright adorable in appearance, but her hyperactivity could give the Tasmanian Devil (classic Looney Tunes) a run for his money.

Glad you like it! *L* Ain't it the truth (about the cutest pets being the most... uh, challenging? Wild?)? Y'know, maybe you should post some photos of your pets sometime. :)

I'd love to, if I had photos to share. AND I knew how to operate the photo-sharing stuff anyway.
