Description
During winter, with temperatures ranging from -40 to -15, the trees in some areas of the Finnish Lapland get completely covered by snow and ice. This makes for a unuique landscape, where everything is white and frozen as far as the eyes can see. That morning I slept in my tent to watch the sun rise from the top of a hill.

Awesome photography.
These ice sculptures are a more benign version of templating trees than those made by the strangling kudzu vines (which kill the trees). If you ever make it to the United States, consider photographing kudzu sculptures (they are devastating the roadsides and are easy to find in the South East US).
