Thank you Sabine. I cannot believe it either... Everything happened so fast. He inspired me since I was a child. His first abstract paintings where really good, I maybe have images of them somewhere I should post them. Because of him I had a computer when I was very young (I remember Windows 3.1 and 95) and I played a lot of video games then started using editors to make my own levels. Eventually leading me to study 3D and become a 3D designer then passed a fraction of this knowledge to him. 3D was new to him but he quickly mastered the craft and started expressing himself using fractals and shapes. -Sam
Thank you. He explained to me how difficult it was to turn a fractal into a 3D printed object. For his renderings, I gave him Maxwell render and Octane + Cinema 4D and showed him the basics but then he learned everything by himself. It was incredible for me to see how quickly he learned all those different software. We often opened together packages from Shapeways he ordered to discover his printed creations and we were both fascinated by the results. - Sam
