I may not have been around during the 80's, but my cousin has one, and i'm a gamer by heart, so I know of the forbidden trick.

When one learns to blow air without blowing spit, you can fix nearly ANY 8-bit or 16-bit game cartridge, :D

Apparently the spit is actually why it works. Conducts electricity.

:icontaltharius:

Too much spit, however, risks creating a short circuit. Hence the need to blow "dry" air; just enough moisture for conductivity, but not enough to cause a short circuit.

And in most cases, you're simply displacing dust and/or pet hair anyway.

Heck I still have 2 Nintendo Entertainment Symptoms (NES) and 2 N64's. The wonderful memories flowing into my mind like Luna's moon fills my soul.

If I had the time I would play back to the future, Super Mario bros., Duck Hunt, or the Legend of Zelda.

Just wondering have you beaten Back to the future because I haven't....... yet.
