Hello there.
I’m you, ten years into the future, and I wish to give some advice on how to make your life easier, and perhaps avoid most of the things that can you know… affect your reputation.
As I’m speaking to you now, you’re going through a moment when there’s a high chance you’ll get bullied, mostly verbally, on your favorite stuff. And I’m sorry to tell you, that this will go on for the rest of your secondary school years. You’ll be getting trips to the disciplinary rooms, and you’ll face irresponsible school board people, like the class president, prefects and librarians, they’ll side with the bullies in tormenting you instead of taking the appropriate action, and they’ll even teach this to juniors enrolling into the school, and at one point, you’ll inflict severe physical harm to yourself. So let me give you some advice to avoid all of these troubles. Just stay cool. You can have fun, but don’t go too far. Don’t try to do anything that leads them to using it to make fun of you. Don’t trust them. They’re hypocrites, pretending to be good to you behind their façade only to show you their true colors. There’s only a few you can totally trust, because their behaviors, their attitude, they’re worth for someone insecure and learning like you.
You’ll be doing lots of personal stuff that you don’t want your parents to interfere in your business. And you’ll have to deal with your brother. All he ever wants is convenience, and he doesn’t even bother to keep things organized like you do. Your parents will then unfairly put the blame on you first. You’ll have to find time to tell them firmly, that they’ll have to investigate properly, before deciding the square action. Overall, I’ll tell you that your relatives from far away are more willing to listen to your troubles than your parents.
Enjoy what you like, and what you do, and as the years go by, you’ll find people who share the same interests with you online. But take my advice into consideration when befriending online, don’t do anything that makes you get hated or something. Basically, do the same on what you’ll have to do in real life. Don’t try to mess everything. You’ll also meet online bullies, and your bullies will even use the online platform to bully you further. Try to act firmer. Take evidence of them bullying you online, and report to school authorities. Don’t bother giving them a second chance or anything.
I understand that from all of these hardships faced, you’ve contemplated suicide, wishing you didn’t deserve to be here. I’ve been through that, dude. I’ve tried to endure my depression, trying my best to hide what I couldn’t really reveal or something. Well dude, whatever you do, don’t try to commit suicide. Your mother’s told you that there are still so many more new things to explore, and more new things to learn. Just try to study hard, and then there’ll be no problems when you face your major examinations later on. That way, you shouldn’t have a problem enrolling local universities, and when you’re in university, pick the course that suits your interests instead of ones that meet your examination requirements. You’ll help save your father’s money. And try to balance between work and play, because you know, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, and all play and no work makes Jill a mere toy. Oh, and about your father, you’re probably aware like me that you love him, but you don’t want him playing useless jokes on you, and be on conflicting sides. Talk to him nicely, and he can maybe change his behavior.
Treasure what you have now, dude. You’ve got games, anime, and anything you’ll love, people whom you can trust, especially your family members, your primary school friends, and a number of your secondary school friends you can only totally trust, and you’re going to love more, love more new stuff, play more new games, get to travel to places and events, and make more new friends and be with them like never before. But remember, among the people whom you can trust, the person you can trust the most…
… is you yourself.
Seeing and hearing everything is believing. Even if others don’t trust you, you still have a guardian angel to care for you. Heaven will reward for all the goodness you have. You may be just average at almost anything, but you’ve got a good talent in language, and you’ll be putting it to good use one day. Remember, Jack Neo sang, “don’t feel that you’re useless”, and Stephen Hawking said, “However difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at.” Go on, dude. Be the person everyone expects you to be. Just like Naruto Uzumaki. He was unnecessarily hated, but he went on, and became a hero, and he became the Hokage in the end (that’s spoilers for you!).
You can do it.
Just take my advice now, for your future’s sake.
You’ll be very happy after all those years.
Go on man.
Don’t stop fighting at doing what you need and what you love.
