The Cero Espada, Barracuda Marracruz has taken on the lofty role of guiding an entire race to a stronger, brighter future. His immense power as a human granted him a level of intelligence and self-awareness that carried over into his early days as a Hollow. With his humanity still somewhat intact, he managed to quickly climb the ranks of the Menos-class, and eventually stood atop the bodies of those he felt to be too primitive to uplift alongside him. His release now brings him back to the days when his animalistic instincts fought to gain control over his conscious mind. He is the missing link between the civilized and the predatory, both a man and a wild animal. This is the source of his near-limitless power and his absolute authority over Hueco Mundo; if one challenges him, they risk unleashing a beast that would be better left contained.
