A simplistic desktop background that I was working on. The main highlight in this is the 3D detail of the text, along with the simplicity of the background behind it. I hope someone likes this, because DANGIT, it took a lot of work to cut all the classes out of that picture. DX
Edit: I added a not so noticeable change in the background gradient. Originally it was very grainy when it transitioned from grey to the bright white at the top. Now it's a slightly less instant change in shade.

I had the idea for a simple desktop for quite some time now, and even though I had to sit for hours through the rendering process of the 3D text, it was well worth the time spent lollygagging during this render...
The only thing I wasn't pleased of was the fact that I couldn't add both the back and front portions of the text on the same 3D layer, it would've used up too much RAM and would cause Photoshop to freeze. Had I done it that way, I might have had a much nicer reflection.
