Painting 4 complementary colors

We were supposed to choose a painting or picture online, then paint it. It had to be a complementary color painting, so I chose one by Paul C. Jackson. Though it didn't come to nearly the same look as his painting, it certainly looks good enough for someone who hasn't had much experience in watercolors.

The next painting that I will be creating is going to involve triadic colors, and we are to specifically find or shoot a photo, then paint a triadic color painting out of it. Due to this, my next one won't be based off other artists.
