Cherokean weapon DG 64 (Assualt Rifle)

The Didagatilvsdi Galogwaya 64 or DG 64 is a gas-operated rotating bolt (direct impingement) 20-round detachable box magazine fed assault rifle, is a family of military rifles adapted from the Didagatilvsdi Galogwaya 56 rifle for the imperial Cherokean military. The original DG 64A1 rifle was a 5.56mm automatic rifle with a 20-round magazine. In 1983, the Imperial Cherokean Navy adopted the more improved DG 64A2 rifle and the Imperial Cherokean Army adopted it in 1986. The DG 64A2 fires the improved 5.56×45mm NATO round and has a newer adjustable rear sight, case deflector, heavy barrel, improved handguard, pistol grip and buttstock, as well as a semi-auto and three-round burst fire selector and can use a 20-round or a 30-round detachable box magazine. Adopted in 1997, the DG 64A4 is the fourth generation of the Didagatilvsdi Galogwaya series. It is equipped with a removable carrying handle and Picatinny rail for mounting optics and other ancillary devices. the DG 64 would also see action in the One Year War as the main assault rifle for the Cherokean Army and Navy. The DG 64 also has a Carbine version called the M4 Usdi Galogwaya.

This alt history concept is really interesting. Like, this basically nomadic chiefdom becomes a genuine Empire, and develops and adopts the same firearms that exist in our timeline
