Berry Stitch Set

Another early Christmas present! I got started on this one and didn't have enough yarn to finish the scarf, so I ended up buying another skein. So then I had half a skein left over, which defeated my destashing purpose, so I went ahead and made a hat to match.

Original scarf pattern here www.redheart.com/free-patterns… , I crocheted with Red Heart Soft Baby Steps in Baby Blue using a size I-9 (5.5mm) hook and then added 4 rows of plain sc with Bernat Pipsqueak in Whitey-White on the ends for a little extra cute. The hat I kind of made up as I went along, but also done in the same berry stitch with the same yarns.
