RIP George Carlin

There’s a documentary on HBO about George Carlin’s life and career.

If you’re a fan and haven’t seen it, you will instantly be enthralled .

The way his brain focuses on the things we need to see the most always stunned me, for it seemed that the masses never paid no mind.

But no matter… he possessed a beautiful mind, and quick wit, and was never afraid to point out the truth.

Now is where I need to stop the ramblings of a ‘ forever fan boy’ lol

The actual font in this piece is a picture of his hand writing from his journal that I took a picture of off the screen as i watched it.

It’s one of the many points in his life where he had to go against the grain to survive.

In that moment everyone around him that he didn’t trust needed removed like a cancer.

And he wrote that down and did just that!!

^this isn’t verbatim, it’s just from memory from 2 years ago…but I think I made the point.

Anyways…

He was always a rebel, and in his over half a century of entertainment, he had to change to survive.

Rambling again….

It’s just inspiring to me as a person…and whenever the grain is pushing me backwards, I look at those words for strength!!

I was fortunate to see him live 3 times.
