Since I need to write at least one DA joural per year, it might as well be at the very beginning - so here goes.
I've kind of lost touch with whatever spirit I wrote in when I posted here, so I'm not sure if anything I'd like to say is relevant... I've also lost touch with the few DA exclusive friends that I used to have who might care (though the truth is I've lost touch with pretty much everyone).

s-t-r-i-p-e-m-e (https://www.deviantart.com/s-t-r-i-p-e-m-e) was a group founded in 2003 aiming at collecting artwork featuring stripes (later, also polka dots and checkered patterns), both in our submissions gallery and favorites.
Though not obscenely famous around devART, it was quite popular (with over 400 members, most of which submitted artwork regularly). However, because maintaining group accounts was so time consuming before actual group accounts were possible, keeping up with it became a bit of a chore for myself and the co-admins, so we neglected it or some time.
