Hi nethskie,
Your art in general is phenomenal, but am hoping in particular to obtain your permission to use a minor modification of "High Altitude Eclipse" for a cover image (web self-publish, YouTube video) for my work "Spectrum of Darkness, Agent of Light." I'm a physician (an ophthalmologist) and have found that vitamin D is a primary influence on the development and maintenance of eye health, in particular the optics of the cornea, our outer and stronger lens. My efforts to have the paper detailing this published in the conventional medical literature have failed so far, publication being refused for "technical reasons" such as "just a case series" (20,000+ cases now) and "not registered as a trial in advance," etc. I just want people to have a chance to see the proof and the truth--non-profit work and of potentially global benefit, given the world-wide epidemic of myopia (nearsightedness) we are experiencing. This is a first real exploration of Deviant Art and I'm not sure how, or if, I can attach the envisioned version with title, etc. With your permission to use your fundamental art, would of course attach copyright acknowledgment according to your wishes. I downloaded the image and made the modifications before eventually finding you were the original artist/copyright, which were deleted from the "wallpaper" I had downloaded. Thank you and please advise.

So my friend told me to crop out the accreditation down the bottom right of my ST Voyager wallpaper to "clean it up".. and I thought that's particularly nasty, so why don't I use it to find you. All your stuff is so cool man! Keep it up
