Making the Kantus do the new peek-a-boo expression kills me every time, it's too adorable.
Also, Ben is one scary baby boi, the pyromaniac.
I really wish they'd do more with the locust though, story wise. They're always associated with versus and the guys who get obliterated by the player in the campaign. Aside from the Shadow of RAAM dlc, but that wasn't enough since only a couple parts let you play as them. Sigh, so fun letting the kryll tear the humans apart. >
The Locust got through the vicious cycle of "Turn up in act 1, roar, have the gears worry that he's unstoppable, despite mowing down hundreds of his soldiers, they then meet the big bad and kick him off his horse without a single human casualty!" - Swarm seemed to have continued it too!
Would totally be down for more RAAM shadow esque segments. Heck with "The Rise of RAAM", have co-op sections with him and Skorge!
That was probably the best thing to me was playing the bad side in Halo 2, because the covies were in their own battles with the flood. It was different than just battle between alien and human. It gave their side life. Although.. I could say the elites had their more humane features than the locust ever would, so kinda ruins the aspect of morality. I just wanna feel bad-A anyway!
Alternatively, like how Dragon Age: Origins did a "What if?" DLC, have a "What if.. The Battle of Jacinto went wrong?" where you play as the Locust in say, Act 5 o Gears 2, but actually foil the COG in flooding the hollow? I don't know, something neat!
Their worts literally became a meme, so it was always funny, among other unintelligible lines. I think they still kept their scariness. It's just that.. Halo 3 and after, they became allies. And the brutes were the new scary, because they were more ruthless about things while the elites were always about honor.
