Something against the Nightmares
Geist had told him it was a bad idea… But Seth just really wanted to do it nonetheless. He had heard about her, the cold witch hidden away near the Moonrest. She was said to not like any other fawnlings, but she was also the best at her craft. The air around Seth started to grow colder, Shivers ran down his spine and he could see his breath turning to mist in the cold air. Bells his fruit bat came to fly closer to him. He could feel her nerves as she fluttered around his head ‘It is okay Bells, she won’t hurt you’. ‘How sure are you about that?’ a screeching voice asked him from inside the dark, right in front of him. Luckily, Leilani was there already. ‘That bad huh?’ she said to Solban, as she helped him get the young Vaeghon of his back and put him on their soft bed together. Solban said nothing but just nodded angrily. Behind him, their youngest daughter Medea came in, she was clenching her teeth in frustration but said nothing. Both Solban and Leilani refused to look at her as Leilani started to get to work, crushing herbs and boiling water for a potion. ‘Please cool him down with some water Solban, his fever is running so high he won’t be surviving for long anymore’ his mate told him. Solban sighted, shot an infuriated look at Medea, and started collecting water in his surrounding to do as Leilani had told him. Medea Just stood there, waiting for her parents to save the fawn… her fawn. But its sickness left her cold, she didn’t understand what the fuss was all about. She stood
