Interested in System Shock 2?
I belatedly realized today, that I still got an unredeemed gift for System Shock 2 from Good Old Games that expires at midnight today. Since I already own it on Steam I don't need it again. So I'll post it here for my friends and watchers. Valid only once unfortunately: NALSA97D5B29A845OS Just be kind enough to leave a comment after redeeming it, so that future readers don't waste their time trying. Merry Christmas!

Just take a look at this: Given how utterly flu-ish the current weather made me for a week now, finding something to cheer me up was sure nice!

Sir Terry Pratchett has died
I just read about it a few minutes ago on a news site. Am still shell shocked about it in my mind, but the rest of you deserve to know as well. Link to BBC article: http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-31858156 . Last entries on his twitter account, probably posted by his daughter as she posted the same on hers: AT LAST, SIR TERRY, WE MUST WALK TOGETHER. Terry took Death’s arm and followed him through the doors and on to the black desert under the endless night. The End.

So what's the verdict here on Knights of the Old Republic II? I ran it with no other mod, but the latest version of the Restored Content Mod.    I liked it more that KOTOR1, but couldn't really put a finger on it why. Biggest plus:    After the beginning and learning about my PCs background, I'd assumed that the Light Side Path would involve my PC "admitting" he was wrong to go fight the Mandalorians against the Councils orders, because Pacifism FTW and stuff. Instead you can in fact defiantly maintain that you were right and they were wrong. Letting their fear of doing something wrong paralyse them into nothing. Showing them up by again
