And yes I know there are exceptions, of course.

Garrus Vakarian made me realise that as a species we will fuck ANYTHING. Unemployed, scar-face alien.

Dudes keep complaining that they're alone 'cause they're ugly but we swooned over a weird bird rock monster, so I guess there is literally no excuse.

Ohh I LOLed a lot when reading this!

And a lot of fangirls wish Legion was romanceable as well........ ;)

...more than anything please sir.

Idk if Garrus was a human I'd still romance him Wink/Razz

I, am laughing, so hard right now, because this is true and hilariously funny :giggle: And yeah, unfortunately I fell for him too, within about five minutes of discovering he was there. This game came out when I was in highschool and while having never been that big a fan of Captain Kirk, I can definitely appreciate and agree with the statement. Even most of us silly earth girls were crazy over Kirk :XD: Guess someone else needed a chance :P

Thank You!
Always good to hear you can make people laugh.

lol You're very welcome :meow: I will admit, I was a little influenced by Halo, I started my gaming with playing the original three of those games and I loved the Elites, so it was surprisingly easy to transfer the focus :XD:

Never actually played those, just know them from my brother.

Ah, got it. I played them through a few times. They were shooters though instead of RPG's, so not as big on story building as Mass Effect. They were still pretty good tho :)

Goddamnit, Vakarian.
I didn't want to love him as much as I do - You see, I saw him coming by far ; I was aware from the very beginning of ME1 that his personality was all too likeable to me -- and that it was playing on my sci-fi nerd's sensible strings as would a cellist on a perfectly tuned Stradivarius. I struggled long and hard NOT to find him great.

... Needless to say, I lost.
[/flowery embarrassingly personal confession off]

Haha, don't be scared. As far as I'm concerned, I won't draw the pitchwork - even if you decide to write, say, the Illusive Man an emphatic motivational-love-letter, and post it on dA for all to see. You're living in a free country, man - or at least I assume you do?
Still, I have to say Garrus looks better in a (space)suit than Kirk ever did ;)

From what I read Garrus was not actually intended as a romance option originally and the creators where quite surprised at how much demand there was for making him one. Kinda like some of the best inventions being made by accident I guess ;) .

And I didn't really worry about any pitchforks with this one anyways. Not controversial like the Miranda one. But thanks!

No, he wasn't meant to be such a heartthrob. I believe his part has been exponentially extended after ME1. ...And now, even the producers can't stop waxing poetry upon him, it's hilarious -www.trustedreviews.com/news/ma… , for instance.-

(Garrus's popularity is actually something I like to joke about - I tend to make fun of a lot of people about it, myself first and foremost -which would explain the dramatics from earlier ;)-, and it has become sort of a meme in its own right, even amongst my friends who don't know the first thing about Mass Effect. He's so flawless, he's so loved, that it's borderline ridiculous :D)

... So yeah, I guess that makes your parallel with Cpt. Kirk even more accurate. And that you're definitely safe from pitchforks (even though I was speaking in general, not about that particular motivational). Or are you? You'd be amazed at the number of things fans tend to disagree on at times !

You are right about the things fan disagree on at time, but no for this one I didn't get any negative feedback at all IIRC.

True. /blush

...I think my boyfriend has sadly realised this too, HAHA. I go mental over Garrus, and he just rolls his eyes and laughs. I'm glad he isn't threatened by a sexy voice and pixels XD

Haha, no problem. I was just making an observation after reading many a DevArts comment :D .
My wife went very fangirly over Admiral Yi Shun Shin (perfect ruggedly handsome dashing gentleman), when we watched the history series about him. Fortunately for me he's been dead for 400 years ;) .

Bahahahahahah!!!

The truthiness of this cannot be denied :D

Not after spending some time here on Devart ;) .

Thx, btw!
