It's weird to go through my deviantart followed account list to see so many old accounts belonging to friends and acquaintances either dead, empty or abandoned without any real way of knowing what happened to them. Did they quit making art? Move to other socials under a different username? It's so strange seeing that the little communities I was part of on DA almost a decade ago are mostly left abandoned with only the slightest traces left. Sometimes their DA icon and old comments being the only thing remaining of their public online presence.
