I watch a great many artists here on DeviantArt, and there's quite a pool of talent in that group. However, sharing all of the pieces I like with my friends gets to be a little much, and so I'm going to be trying something new. I leave DeviantArt alone for three months or so, and return to an absolute avalanche of messages. Aiee! Well, I've finished digging through the backlog, and will hopefully keep on top of things enough to prevent that from happening again. School's been going well for me, with the organic chemistry lab sticking out. We've been doing some pretty interesting things in it, most recently the synthesis of triphenyl methanol via a Grignard reaction. Long lab, though, but I actually got a good yield of product this time. The ether fumes, however, were most definitely not appreciated.... *achoo!* It's been a while since I last updated this journal, what with school and other distractions keeping me busy. They've also kept me away from the site in general, and I ended up doing quite the archive binge when I finally got some time. There's so much pretty art on this site, and quite a few interesting stories as well.... And thanks to everyone who decided to watch me! I really do appreciate it. Now, let's see if I can start writing more often....
