I found this little guy living in my house, witch is a quite common thing where I live, in fact I have about 20 of these guys living in and around my house. What made him special though is that he was only about an inch & 1/2 in length from head to tail, witch presented me with an excellent photographic opportunity. I picked this little guy up brought him into my studio and just started shooting frame after frame, I had to of had at least a hundred pictures or more.

This image is now part of my photography portfolio and is one of my favorites; it really captures the size and shows off the textures of his skin and the contrast in texture values between the hand and the lizard.

This image was taken of a Hawaiian variety of the Madagascar green day gecko with a Nikon camera under studio conditions using natural North lighting taken at f4 @ 125/sec shutter speed.
