Swirlypoop

I can't believe I've just named a picture swirlypoop...

So... I was doodling in flash (been drawing a lot today, I think my wrist will give) and then I was like, 'yeah, lets crosshatch', so, I crosshatched, and flash hated it and crashed.. so I screencapped what I had and tottered over to painshop pro, did some sepia toning and shiny tones and butterflies and stuff, et voila! The final scrappage....

Whilst I was doing it I managed to gather an audience- my sister, and then my mom, who kept yelling at me to leave the poor pic alone, or do this or that to it- it was funny.

Yes this is partially inspired by some pics I've seen around, to be honest I'm really shy of using effects because they feel a bit cheap to me, admittedly they look great and are quite fast, but some pics, when you probe for technical detail, or look underneath that haze of texture... are naught but a doodle *wink* like this one for example (it's not a bad thing, it can just be dissapointing when you look 'underneath the under- well, just underneath the textures, and it's a totaly different pic)

I might do a proper pic like this, regardless, some day, though it's not really my thing, very gothic, still, it looks nice!
