Thanks for the helpful critique. :)
Yes, I think you're right about the clothes. In fact, I'm not entirely sure about what style I'm aiming for right now... you can say I'm in some sort of experimental stage. I like the stuff with blocky painterly feel, but since I've spent so much attention on the face, maybe the contrast is a bit too much. I guess some more polishing wouldn't have hurt. I may retouch it later, if I get in the mood. :)
Also about the gap between the moon and the character, I had doubts about it too. :/ But drawing them closer for some reason didn't seem entirely right. But you're right that it does feel somewhat empty.

Thank you very much, this is very helpful. :)

*typo* I meant: most VCs are fairly easy to record :shakefist:
I gave a look and it seems you did a very nice job (unlike many I saw that claimed that they supported Italian while missing several vital phonemes and the e/è o/ò distinction).
It seems a solid list overall, and I like how it's well organized too. Nice
Before work started killing my free time, I made 2 CV+CCV/CCCV/VC reclists... your CV/CCV/CCCV collection seems to be pretty close to my first one at a glance... that alone made a pretty decent Italian with my bank, so I'm sure that with all the additional VCs and VCVs you could produce a very pretty Italian with this list.
Before starting my job I was trying to expand my banks to VCV/CV-VC like this... although I tend to prefer to use a phonetic conventions rather than the written one...
Anyway, if work gives me a break and I get back to UTAU, I need to give a better look to your list to help me rationalize my own better :3

"VC is recommended, even if it might be difficult for Italian native speakers to record it."

Out of my experience with my CV bank, there are some VCs that save a lot of hassle and improve quality A LOT, and I'd actually say some are way more important than many CCCVs... I think most CVs are fairly easy to record too.
I also found that some CCCVs are problematic due to UTAU cutting consonant length, so a VC-CCV approach tends to work way better than (C)V-CCCV, especially in the sCCV group... for instance, doing a-as-tro tends to produce better result than a-stro in my experience.
In my second bank I ended up recording VCs and a standalone 's' and skipping sCV and sCCV altogether (although having those (C)CCVs for word-starts sounds certainly nicer, but you can live without it)
Other VCs look really optional instead (like for instance the *tS group, I think...)

Maaan I miss working on this stuff, you flared up my UTAU mood again lol (too bad I don't have time ~and I should be working right now asdfghkl~)
