I love history, despite not having taken/going to take nearly enough courses on it :/

Um I think I can actually empathise on this one.
I had to do a lot of geology throughout my zool degree if I wanted to do paleaontology after... yeah... rocks are cool and all, but by the gods... was it boring... and I have done now I think 3 different units of it T_T
For a year our pracs every week were, here are a bunch of rocks, that all look the same, but are SLIGHTLY different, now describe and identify in detail each one... you get really REALLY sick of describing rocks after a while.
There are only so many bloody words to describe a rock!! after the 100th bloody rock I have ran out of describing words!!!

--- sorry, ranted a bit there...

But with your history... maybe make a story out of it? To help you remember, even if its fantastical, and you dont have to write it down or anything or draw it. Though you could quick sketch or doodle events in history you are supposed to remember, else actually reciting what you learn t someone else, even if its just Salem, can REALLY stick it in your head. Honestly saying it outloud and teaching someone else is the best way to learn something if you keep forgetting cause it forces you to repeat and recite. :) Dunno if this is any help, and good luck with it!!

lol I wasn't drawing anything. It was just 8 paragraph biographies of different artists and then having to think of 8 paragraphs why they were important. Then find 10 artworks of theirs and explain another paragraph about it. Then having to write another 4 paragraphs in comparing one of their artworks to ours. e__e

That's 8+8+1+4 = 21 paragraphs x 4artists = 84 paragraphs.. u___u After a while you run out of words to stay how important this or that is.

If you merge all the options, it's just like the 'art' class I took in ninth grade. =P

Lots of old books, barely any art getting done because of just so many rules/guidelines, and me being a quiet kidand I mean you couldn't get me to talk to the teacher unless it was like two months after school started I was that bad at social interactions ;v;
