New Selene Ref

Tried adjusting colors in SAI, not sure how well it really worked. :/ Oh well.

So I've had this just sitting around since a little after I finished Marilasse's ref, but I've forgotten about it until now. Figured I might as well post this while it was fresh in my mind. Selene is my second character from when I played Pathfinder with my group. She is a human an aasimar (basically a human whose great great something-or-other was a celestial being, with genes and powers resurfacing generations later) sorceress with a fey bloodline. She is a patron of the goddess Shelyn, who holds dominion over love, beauty, and the arts. Her campaign started with our party escaping from a slave camp run by orcs. This has left her body all scarred up, though she usually hides her scars with fancy clothes or makeup or magic. (If you're curious, though, sta.sh/0134f9yveojl)

At any rate, after that campaign ended she was brought over here into RP Land. Selene is a total egghead, preferring the company of books over people. She had closed herself off to other people for a really long friggin time, until meeting a drow mage who wound up becoming her traveling partner. Safety in numbers and whatnot. Over time, the two of them found dragon eggs and became bonded to them - Selene's partner is a lawful good-aligned gold metallic dragon who's simultaneously her best friend and the biggest thorn she's ever had in her side. They love each other, though. Late into the story, she takes and passes the Test of the Starstone to become a demigoddess. She doesn't WANT that kind of responsibility, but it was the only way she'd have enough power to stop some really bad shit involving said friend to save his soul. Fortunately, it worked, so now the two of them have moved on, living together on the Northern Shores, the former residence of the chaotic evil necromancer that formerly held Marilasse prisoner.

Selene's usually a pretty positive person despite everything she's been through, remaining neutral good, though how much of it is her being a Stepford Smiler is unclear. She only really seems happy when surrounded by books or able to show off her knowledge, being the nerd she is - that's not saying she doesn't love her friends, though. Her focus right now is undoing everything Katarina Tolstov has ruined for the north and trying not to think about the prospect of godhood, power that she never really wanted to begin with.
