Hey, folks. I've decided to develop my own little game. While I was editing the tilesets, an idea struck me. Your art in my game! - It will work like this... There are areas of the game in which the player will need to tunnel in order to get to the next area. The areas in question will either be beneath a fortress, so the tileset will be stylized to look like stone, dirt, or a hallway. In hallways, there will be secret rooms. Inside of these secret rooms, there will be paintings hanging on the walls. This is where your art piece will show. Inside the frames, the paintings will be reduced in size into pixelated versions as shown below... (This is just an example, the entire game won't use this same tileset.) Pretty neat, huh? If you want your artwork in my little game, I'll accept one entry. Please send me a high resolution PNG/JPEG. Keep in mind, the piece must have been made by you and it must not have transparency in it. The clearer the picture, the clearer the pixels. It can be

When in the process of creating original characters, it is important to brainstorm the tiny details of how they speak. That is, if they are capable of speech at all. Unique speech patterns and crack witticisms are an integral part of what makes a character stand out from the rest. Characters from all media tend to have been been based on a real person at some point. So, when you are writing, ask yourself, "Does a real person really talk like this?" If ye' don' b'lieve a real p'son would talk'a like dis, ye' gotta think, ye' gotta think, ya know, that, ya know, fer 'xample uh... Boomhauer from dat sho' da King da Hill, ya, he talk'a lik'an idiot. But da guy was'a actch'ally based on a real guy! Ya ya, I know, we-e-eird. Hard t'think da guy gon' talk'a like dat, but ya, ya, he done talk'a like dat, ya gotta b'lieve.

If you have a friend from the past, it is a good idea to check up on them once in a blue moon if you still have their contact information. Of course, that is provided you are also on good terms with them. Never underestimate the power that a simple kind gesture such as this can do to make someone's day a little brighter. I am confident most of the time this is received well. If not, that's ok, too. They'll know you cared enough to reach out and that might just be enough to help someone through a tough time.
