Haltiaton

Haltia or haltija is a Finnish word meening keeper or guardian. In Finnish folkrlore a haltia is a guardian angel -like being. Everyone and everything from the chair you are sitting on to the idiot next door who plays music all night long has a haltia. One could loose one's haltia from a shock. After that, one gets depressed untill the haltia comes back. It is said that one's haltia resides in one's shadow. Haltiaton means without the haltia.

BTW Väinämöinen from Kalevala is the haltia of a type off river.
