You're cheating me, you're cheating you
But what's a guy supposed to do?
The sign says stop; you try to go
What we suggest, you just say no
You're tempting fate, these escapades
But little rebels have their ways
Of cheating life; of cheating death
Invincible? Don't hold your breath
If I were you
I'd be more careful with what I do
Because the day your luck runs out
Don't cry to me
That you received no warning
The day your luck runs out
Is gonna be
A bitter-tasting morning
Hear the voices in your head
Telling you to stay in bed
The day your luck runs out
You're skipping class, you're late for work
You're never home, oh what a jerk
Neglecting family and friends
With you, the drama never ends
We've told you once, we've told you twice
We've told you half a thousand times
The day will come, you won't forget
We won't be there to clean your mess
And you should know
We love to say we told you so
And on the day your luck runs out
Don't cry to me
That you received no warning
The day your luck runs out
Is gonna be
A bitter-tasting morning
Hear the voices in your head
Telling you to stay in bed
Because the day your luck runs out
Is gonna be
A bitter-tasting morning
The day your luck runs out
Don't cry to me
That you received no warning
The day your luck runs out
Don't be a jerk
And bore me with your sorrow
The day your luck runs out
You'll have to work
To try and fix tomorrow
Plant your feet into the ground
Try to turn your life around
The day your luck runs out

Ran into a moral issue today at work, and it spawned a chain of thoughts about the people who cut corners in life and break rules without being punished. I am a strong proponent of karma, and like to believe people eventually get what's coming to them, even though I know some of them don't.
This is for all the ignorant folks who may one day find themselves in a downward spiral thinking, "If only I had listened to so-and-so." If only...
