Machine by necron Machine by necron
Just one of many photos i shot last winter when i was visiting Gran Canaria. This machine seemingly had no purpose, it was just sitting there, so i thought it made a good object to shoot.

Angry fishermen kept me from getting a better shot.

I ahve absolutly no idea what that is, but it suer is photogenic.

The black and white works very well for it, as does the border. The angle you've taken this pic from also lends itself to the advantage of the shot.

Nice :D (Big Grin)

Looks really cool... the photo looks very proffesional-like. The angle is also very interesting... damn why don't people submit good stuff like this to the stock photo sections :| (Mad)

Terrific contrasts of light dark and nature and industry. Nice commentary.

yeah, I've seen these - yosemite is right, it's a boat cradle :) (Smile)
I think it would be more interesting from a different angle, or perspective, and probably w/o the white car in the background too.

ahhh, feels like a derilict portion of the industrial revolution... not so revolutionary, was it? It, like so many others before it, marked the land with paper statues...

Idols from a forgotten religion, left to rot in obscurity.

Wonderful work.

Looks like a boat cradle/crane for lifting boats out of the water. Interesting contrast/detail, but a pass on bringing out shadow details would be nice ;')
