TallApple Litter Tryouts



CLOSED — CLOSES 21/12/2023

An unexpected litter is going to happen between Tallpine and Applebranch, two of Thunderclans hotheads. These kits are named Mousekit & Peachkit.

These two had a fling litter after having some intimate time with each other, totally by accident. They'll try their best as parents, but neither are really built for the role. Once Applebranch is done weaning the kit's they'll likely spend time in their nests with Tallpine instead, not to say she'd never visit but she's just too active. Perhaps taking after the one who birthed her a bit too closely...

As a parent Applebranch will be brash and hotheaded as per usual. She won't bully or abuse the kits and will try to be understanding but she has a short fuse and is likely to get frustrated when her words can't be understood by a cat so young. She'll also be one to encourage play fighting and getting to know other caretakers because of her mothers (the one she calls Mom) position in the clan. She'll try to be there for them as much as she can but sometimes she needs time to herself to calm down lest she explode.

As a parent, Tallpine will be making an active effort to be involved in the lives of his children. He wants to ensure he treats all of his kids equally, and wants to support them in every way he can. But, Tallpine has a low tolerance what he deems as stupidity, and therefore he will unknowingly expect his kits to know what he does, making him rather impatient during teaching moments. Tallpine will also be fairly inconsistent with his children, with one day being much more patient and loving than the next due to his own difficult past. So while Tallpine will try his best, he by no means will be a great father; but one thing he will never fail at is being there for them every step of the way.


Rules

  • Me and Oodles0Doodles expect activity with these kits! We reserve the right to reclaim & rehome the kit should anything arise, though we will always attempt to resolve any issues amicably before reaching that point.
  • We also expect communication concerning ships, major plots, putting up for injury etc. just so we stay in the loop as family, and because it's common courtesy!

  • Going along with the last rule, please do not kill these kits off or put them up for death without explicit permission from us both!
  • These designs and names are NOT set! We have a st.ash here of some designs, and we suggest "simple" names as neither Tallpine or Applebranch are good at naming things. You are welcome to use your own designs though as well.
  • As these cats are born into a turbulent family, tension is expected and relationships can break and bend here. We also for communication in doing so, or planning to do so,  but there is a chance these kits could grow to dislike their parents due to their nature. Apple and Tall are trying, but sometimes trying isn't enough when it comes to being a good parent.

Tryout Information

  • These guys are born into a relatively small family but one with a few other family members! Eveningbreeze is Applebranchs adoptive mother, the one that Apple sees are her only parent! She's adored by Applebranch and would play a large role in the lives of the kits. Orbweaverfrost is Applebranchs adoptive sibling, and one she does not get along with. Because of this it's unlikely that they'd be involved at first, though this can change down the line as things develop. The kits are welcome to seek out a relationship with Orb on their own too. There is another sibling who is currently a tryout that will be added to the family later, so don't feel expected to add them to any tryouts.
  • There is also Ryewhisper who is Applebranches Nibling! They're not as close as they used to be, but Applebranch would like to have the other as part of her life again now that she has gotten pregnant and would likely let Rye visit the kits.
  • There is a third kit named Treekit that is played by me! Treekit is a logical and harsh character, taking after their parents. He thinks more than them though, and prefers to use his words over his claws. He is still a troublemaker though and a shit-starter, and will likely argue with his siblings a lot because of it.
  • There is no set gender, name, personality, or design. Any gender is fine, as well as any AGAB including intersex.
  • Limited traits are fine, as long as they are mentioned in the tryout! If need be I can help with purchasing something for you.
  • Kits are born 25/12/2023! Giving a few days for tryout winner to setup their tryout.
