Cirrus
It'd been a quiet afternoon, all things considered. He'd been curled up beside Iris for most of it, content to sleep the day away - So long as Iris was there. In fact, they'd become so close, life without Iris seemed downright... Not acceptable. He did not want a life without Iris, and he'd stand on that hill until it got torn down. Though, he hoped it never would.
He rolls over lazily in their cozy nest, nudging her side playfully as he sticks out a tongue. You awake?" His voice is warm and gentle, holding a sweet undertone. He always found himself speaking softly with Iris, not because he thought she needed it, but because he preferred it. He wanted her to know that he thought deeply of her.
Today was the day, he thought.
Iris
Iris curled close to Cirrus and let out a little mrrp of sleep towards him. She enjoyed having him close.. enjoyed the company. She didn't know how she had lived alone for so long previously. It

Leafstorm
Leafstorm walked for what felt like ages, the soft crunch of leaves beneath his paws shifted to the rolling of pebbles, then the soft kiss of moss- the sun had begun to set, painting the sky in brilliant hues of orange, red, pink and yellow. Lifting his chin, the young warrior paused his trek only to watch the colors change - the sky that yawned endlessly above his head, that same sky that Eveningbreeze now made her trek towards. Tears refused to fall, perhaps from shock, or perhaps from a refusal to accept what he had witnessed with his own eyes.
Eveningbreeze was gone, his last semblance of a motherly familial tie- gone. His siblings remained, but how long would it be before they left him as well? Tearing his somber gaze from the sky he continues his walk, the humid warmth of the rainforest filling his lungs - bringing some semblance of peace to his aching chest.
Climbing up onto a large fallen log, he

Moontide
Moontide crept along the edge of the Rainforest before plunging in, eyes wide as he searched for the one cat he wanted to see. They had been.. dancing around the idea of courting. Of their feelings. Knowing Bigstride had a child that was not his stung his heart but it didn't.. hurt like he expected it to hurt. It hurt but not like the hurt of being betrayed, not like the sting he felt with the idea of Leafstorm courting a molly or tom on his own side of the border.
He knew the other had a partner, he did, but so did he. And he didn't love Bigstride. Not romantically, he courted to try and get his friend back, because if Bigstride was the same as he was an a kit, an apprentice, then they could've fallen in love. So he though that if he gave his heart out then it could cure the other.
Instead it only brought heartbreak and pain. The tom was not kind to Moontide, he never was anymore. It hurt. He sought comfort in

Moontide
Moontide walked with his guards over the border slightly. They stayed close to Shadowclan, the escorts of his probably didn't exactly feel comfortable and eyed the tom warily. But Moontide didn't mind, for once in his life he didn't care what others thought of him. What they said about him behind his back. He had to talk to Leafstorm.
Had to make sure the other wasn't just lying in a panic for his life. Had to know if they could be together as mates.
After talking to his dead friend, Moontide felt at peace. More at peace than ever before as he bowed his head to the Thunderclan escorters that breached the horizon. He was on their land, their rules came into play here. No longer did they need to meet at outsiders lands like criminals. This was fine. This was law, given by leaders.
"Leafstorm!" He called out once he saw the yellow pelt of his partner. His mate? They had to clarify. Everything back then felt so fast

"Kraitvenom!"
The other had gotten lost from her in the chaos of everything and it was in the aftermath that all of those little realizations had begun to fall into place. The rush of sound back into the air, the sobs of others over their loved ones, the death of her own mother, the horrifying fact that beat harshly in her chest she didn't know if her best friend, her love, had died. If they would be among those that came back or if they would be gone forever.
Stormsong rushes through the crowd, pushing through anyone that didn't get out of her way fast enough, head turning toward every flash of someone with a monochrome pelt in an agonizing search until finally, finally, she found her.
"Krait!" Bounding across what space remained, as if she couldn't rid themselves of it fast enough, Stormsong presses close and tucks her head under their chin. The feeling and sound of Kraitvenom's

Ivorypath sprang through the trees above where Martenflame walked on the ground, letting out an occasional whoop or oopsie as he caught himself from the various mistakes he could have made. He shot through the trees like a tiny rocket, and eventually he hung down from the branches, balanced on his hind legs, and peered down at Martenflame cheerfully.
"Are ya having fun?" he asked excitedly after a moment, his eyes nearly sparkling with the force of the excitement he was clearly feeling. "I'm having fun," he continued, "so much fun, even. You're great company, Martenflame, you really make it easy to just be myself." He beamed at his friend and swished his tail. Then, he darted down the tree and slipped up against Martenflame, so that their pelts were brushing.
"I think I annoy a lot of patrols," he observed after a moment, still cheerful, "but you never get mad at me." He grinned up at the taller tom and
