Is that a green lantern construct version of a Xenomorph on the far right?

Very, VERY cool!

I _used_ to be a GL fan, but that was back in the 20th century... well, back in the 1970's really (yes, I am THAT old)... before they jerked HJ around for what seemed like the twentieth time (or was it the twenty-first?)... Man, all the "reboots" and "retcons" and "reinventions" of the 90's and 00's made it really, really hard to like mainstream comics from that point on.  They messed with my heroes one time too many.

I'm curious about the butterflies on her chest and face.  Dammit now I gotta go buy a GL comic...LOL

Jessica Cruz is an Alternate Universe "Power Ring," a super-villain from an alternate universe where their super-villain powers mirrors the primary DC universe's heroes, and their super-heroes mirror the primary universe's villains.  If I remember right (and I'll be corrected, I am sure, if I am not), her predecessor was Harold Jordan, janitor at Ferris Industries.

What's that got to do with the butterflies?
bobgens's avatar
Absolutely nothing.  The green X-shape was Power Ring's logo back in Days Of Yore (the '70s and '80s, when I used to read comics).  Jessica Cruz just inherited it.  I'd call the '70s and ask why that logo was used, but I lost the number... actually, I think I forgot the number, age-related senility setting in...

Okay I get it...that's the Evil ring's logo.  Now it makes more sense.

The "butterfly" is the Power Ring symbol

Except that it's not normal and I'm trying to figure out WHY the symbol is a butterfly instead of a Green Lantern.

It's just a parallel universe Green Lantern Ring, man

I've always wondered: Why there are no left-handed lanterns ?. Because i'm left-handed and sometimes playing to be a Green Lantern i thniked if there was rules about the proper hand to use the ring

Well, Sinestro used to be a Green Lantern. And is sometimes left handed. Also that's where his name comes from. Probably should have named him Lefty instead.

Alan Scott, the original Green Lantern, is left handed.
