This is a T-Rex, those dinosaur species does not have feathers like other dinosaurs.

While there isn't enough proof, it's thought T-Rex was only partly covered in feathers.

Thanks man this was really useful to me, but i dont have a program that lets me paint in embossed brush layer so i have to rely on paintbrushes and color burns alone man, i think i did ok though

It is very important to play around with things like Blending Options/Layer FX in Photoshop. PS can render some awesome stuff and save you a lot of work while making things look cool. :D

Nice tutorial, one of those that point out what really helps!

Tanks, a very helpfull tutorial. Just one question left. How do you manage to merge the layers and prevent the styles so they are not getting mixed up with the different layer settings?

Hey Nebezial, Im quite a fan of your work, having favourited and looked up your works in awe without making the connection that they were from one artist ^^; your works are just aw inspiring. I have watched your videos on youtube as well, but something stumps me... when you use the 'smudge tool' for you the blending is smooth and easy to push around, whilst bleeding into adjacent colours. With my settings, it simply has the effect of the liquify tool, pushing blocks of colour around but never really blending, I was wondering as to whether you had details on this? Perhaps what your settings are or settings that could be useful anyway. Im a little stuck at that point, and really am itching to start making colour creations as amazing as yours one day. :)

thankyou very much, it took a little while to work out where it was, but I found it, and really, thankyou :) your words on your vids about how you like to share your information with others to better yourself as an artist was really inspiring.
Once my exams have finished tomorrow, I look forward to practicing some digital art and trying out some of your techniques and methods :)

I really really would love to become as good as you one day, your colour, and speed in painting, is incredible.

Lol it is beautiful, but I can't help but seeing

1- Draw a blobby epic thing
2- Add some more blobby stuff
3- Magically add everything you'd ever need
4- Sprinkle with magic-dust

lol, and this> [link]
