Wish I hadn't done that by Nayikee Wish I hadn't done that by Nayikee
A few days ago I posted a deviation that caused a little bit of a stir. It was a depiction
of a nude anthro. In retrospect I wished that I had never submitted the thing. I want
to apologize to every one who might have found this offensive. I choose this deviation
of the "Comic Book Man" (A minor character of the TV animated show The Simpsons.)
as a depiction of how I'm currently feeling now. I was contemplating about deleting this particular

It's okay, like I said in another comment, as long as nudity isn't drawn in a nasty and perverted way, to me it's fine. You were thinking like Michelangelo, who just saw the human anatomy as an art form.

For the longest time I hesitated posting that deviation. I wanted to take the
art of depicting anthropomorphic characters to different levels that portrayed
them in a more realistic manner. I thought that I had made a big
mistake in doing so.I almost canceled my DA account over this. But many of my
fellow artists convinced me that there was nothing wrong presenting my OC's
in such a way. I want to thank you Becky for your support.Hug (And all of my friends as well!)  :D (Big Grin)

Like Macchiato said, if people get offended by seeing other genitals then the problem is on them and not you. You shouldn't feel ashamed for drawing and submitting something that certain people didn't like.

It's not a piece bad that you drew the nude anthro. What shall be wrong showing naturalness? Almost everyone who draws wolve or dog characters draw them with primary sexual characteristics.
And let's be real. Everyone of us has a genital which we see every day. Why do people get offended by seeing others?
It wasn't your fault.

Didn't expect people to get so angry about it.
It was nudity for the sake of art, not dirty pleasures.

True. I've seen nude photography on DA like this. Why is that accepted, but not drawn art?
