My Bio
To me, Nature is god. Without it, we simply would not exist. Conserving the world’s natural spaces and the creatures that live there is paramount to the survival of humans as a species, and I have therefore dedicated my life to studying environmentalism in order to help people co-exist more successfully and sustainably with the natural world.

All natural materials I use in my creations are either sourced from roadkill, Fish and Wildlife, or are antique. In this way, I'm ensuring that no animals were needlessly killed for the sake of the artwork I produce. I fully believe that no part of any creature should go to waste if a purpose can be found for it, but I do NOT support trophy hunters or overseas fur farms by buying 'byproducts' like bones, skulls, or claws directly from them. The only exception I make for this rule is for parts from animals legally culled for population control programs approved by Fish and Wildlife.

As a photographer and wildlife enthusiast, I've been involved with many fantastic organizations such as Images4Life and Wild Tiger, as well as the Sierra Club and many smaller, local groups.
I've been published, interviewed, and even featured on Rainn Wilson (Dwight from “The Office”)'s personal networking website, SoulPancake.com.

I’ve also been blessed with the opportunity to visit many of the world’s most amazing wild places, like Komodo Island, Bali, Lombok, Malaysia, and the Cayman Islands, and have even documented entirely new species previously unknown to science.

You may know me from Etsy or perhaps recognize my photographs from Flickr. I've been on the fence about getting a DeviantArt account for a while, and I don't know how often I'll make use of it, so if I don't reply to your messages or comments, don't feel bad - I'm probably romping around out in the woods.

Did it again. My butcher friend called today to tell me that he had 50+ more rabbit hides to give me, plus a couple of goat skins. My freezer is already full, so I wasn’t really in a position to accept the rabbits, but drove out to his place to pick up the goats. When I got there, the bag of rabbit hides was still sitting beside the shed. I paid for the goats (and more food for the dogs), and was about to take off, but something stopped me. I asked my buddy, “No one’s taking those hides off your hands?” "Well," he said, "someone was supposed to come get them shortly after I called you, but she hasn’t shown up y

Who Dyes Furs?

I have a coyote that I need dyed black. Who does this and at what prices? I've had pelts bleached by Tubari before, but I'd rather support a fellow self-employed artist.

Hey folks! In case you haven't already heard, Etsy had been trying to ban certain taxidermy items from appearing in search results by claiming that they fall under the category for "mature" content. The taxidermy community has endlessly been discriminated against by Etsy staff, and groups formed on Etsy to support the community have even been disbanded without justification. Please sign the petition and urge Etsy to instate a different means of 'censorship': http://www.change.org/petitions/etsy-please-acknowledge-wet-specimens-as-art-not-in-need-of-censorship You can also send Etsy HQ the following email to offer a suggestion as to what can

Hey I’m a fellow Oregonian, nice to meet another one!
Just enjoyed your fascinating gallery! It really impressed upon me the uniqueness of what Deviantart is all about. It captures that spirit of those willing to deviate from the norm. I know you're a very kind person who is respectful to all creatures, even those difficult human kind. Continue ignoring the far left haters who think they "get it" but are deceived by their overweening egos. One day they may mature.
Happy birthday! :cake: :)
You murderer! I didn't know you were a hunter, I thought you loved animals! Blocked!

:) Happy Birthday! :cake:
I've only had a quick look around and I have to say that I LOVE the gallery. This is right up my street and I love that because I thought no one liked things like this unless in a pagan ritual (which I'm not XD). I also appreciate that you can see that people can hunt animals WITHOUT abusing them and still being very responsible with them. So thank you for this I adore it so much.
