Here is another one of my COPIC pics I have been doing on and off for the past few weeks.
Heh, long gone are the days where when I used to submit 10+ pictures a day straight after finishing them off. Now I rather work on a few pieces which usually take me a few weeks to submit or even finish a couple to a point I am happy enough to share it.
Ahh, King Triple D I had to Google a base for his pose because this is the first time I have drawn him
I'm sure I willdo more pics of him.. I have an actual plush toy which I got from Didz for Valentines Day last year so I can study him a bit more and maybe do a full A4 piece with Kirby as well in the near future.
I was wondering how to colour him, at first I was going to use Crayola pencils... But then I thought about the base being being done with marker and then shading could go on.. to give him a warm fuzzy fluffy look and feel.
So yeah, base is COPIC markers and then I blended with COPIC blender pen, and added shading and highlights with white, black and brown Crayola pencils.
I didn't want to ink his sleeves and collar of his jacket in black pen, so I used a grey Faber Castell PIT Artist pen for them.
Now, the other thing is some people draw King Dee Dee Dee with a vest, and some don't... I decided that for this time I would draw him with a vest. I haven't seen my plushie so I don't know if he does have one or not but yah~ *shrugs*
I may update this later with a full alpha transparent background... might need some help with that one though but no rush as I am pleased with how this one came out. EDIT*:
I got some help from =Badooleoo
to do the alpha transparency
He also cleaned up some bits around here and there on Photoshop. And also put in his own watermark ;b cheers bubby! <3
Anywho, hope you like it!
