Movie Thoughts: The Predator
When Predators was released in 2010, it was a modest hit and offered a lot of possibilities. Even Nimrod Antal expressed interest in directing a sequel with Robert Rodriguez, who also expressed interest and saw the potential sequel as a chance to really go crazy with the new storyline introduced. Sadly, the project stalled, and went quiet for several years. In 2014, it was announced that that a new Predator film would be made but rather than Antal in the directors chair, the new director would be Shane Black, who starred in and co-wrote the original Predator. Rather than continue the story left by Predators, this time, the hunt has evolved.
When a child accidentally triggers the universes most lethal hunters to return to earth, only a ragtag group of ex soldiers and a biologist can prevent the end of human-kind. Only now, the hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before.
