I recently just did some creature concepts using this technique: natehallinanart.deviantart.com… It's a quick and easy way to add some creepiness to a painting and I thought people would enjoy learning how to paint spider webs without the pain of painting each little thread. Hope it helps!

Use the download button to get the brushes I used.

Make sure to check out my FB art page for more art and art tips.

There's no spiderweb brush, just a "Scattered line" brush that only makes straight lines and a "pores" brush.

The holes in the web are way to regular. Shouldn't you try different sizes of openings in more random orientation?

Beautiful brushes! Never had a reason to use webbing, but just in case I'll gladly have them ready to use.

Looks like a really cool idea but I can't open the file when I download.  Is there an alternative to RAR?

You need Winrar or a similar program to decompress the .rar file.

Winrar is here: www.rarlab.com/download.htm

Thank you! I'll put it on my list of 'Tutorial to do.' Rock should be easy enough. Skin would probably require a few tutorials because of it's complexity.
