The Druid Queen by NatashaKineva The Druid Queen by NatashaKineva
:iconscandinavianlullaby: and I came up with the concept for this photo. We wanted aughtumn colours, a bit of Scandinavia in it (the hat!) and a nice story.

So, being the World of Warcraft lovers that we are, we decided that she would be the Druid Queen. Because they are nature creatures, they are strong and powerful. Plus they are imba!

Photographer/Editing: me
Model: :iconscandinavianlullaby:
Idea: :iconscandinavianlullaby:
Concept: me
Make-up: me
Outfit: :iconscandinavianlullaby:, me and a special THANKS to Marie's boyfriend Christian who made the beads out of the berries and helped me with putting a bunch op plants into the costume and her hair. ^^

PS. markings were a bitch to make, since I had to make them on PS.

first of all, I've literally, actually literally never seen a human being so beautiful and perfect, second of all, these pictures are amazing, I'm using them as inspiration for my book (about celts, druids, vikings and elves etc), Brilliant!

Super fedt kostume!

The leaves beads and fur are a nice touch. I like the idea of the clay as face paint. You look celtic your self, you could do it with you as the subject.

And thank you, I am considering that maybe one day I should take a photo where I use clay on someone as facepaint - would give an interesting effect.

Haha maybe, but its harder to take selfportaits - specially when there are small details.

The concept we created together with my friend who is on the photo.

I really like the picture, but im not to fond of the paintwork, though its well done. It think its the arrow, that makes it too sharp in contrast with the rest, which are very natural and pleasant.
A different but cool option: Use wet clay :)

Men det er godt at du har brugt en dansk model til et skandinavisk motiv :)

tak for kommentar =)

I see that the markings stand out a bit too much, but when I did this picture I still didn't know many things in photoshop, and now I cannot be bothered to remake it (plus I think original is gone when my old harddrive died)

Hmm wet clay you say? Interesting, I am afraid things would get a bit too messy since you cant control clay so good, but I would consider it for a new project.

Of course you can control clay. Just mush it up with water til it has the consistensy you would like, then paint it on with a brush. Its almost like paint :)

Is it narcissistic to add it to faves?

Btw, all the family members I've shown it too have been very impressed by it. ^^
