Once upon a time there was a girl clad a poufy red dress with black and white lace with large red boots and a red hooded cape. On a lovely day outside the majestic woods, she inhaled the crisp air and was headed to the next town over with a basket of home-baked bread, home-made strawberry jam, and home-brewed apple cider with dye as red as her clothes. They were a gift to an elderly couple that had been ever so kind to her as she grew up orphaned on the streets. She put the bread, still warm and crumbly in her basket covered in a red handkerchief, the little glass pot of home-made jam, red as blood, and the glass bottle, moist and cool, in beside it, then strapped on her boot and up her hood went. She was out the door into the ever green forest, oblivious to the dangers that await a lone girl in a terribly secluded place.
Crunch, crunch, crunch went her boots on the path.
