Retsuko: "Who the hell will wear this?"
Fenneko: "Nobody would want this."
I beg to differ.
Retsuko: "It's not something you'd give your 25-year-old daughter."
I WISH it were!!
Haida: "It's practically cosplay."
Lolita fashion is not cosplay~ This JSK just needs a petticoat.

I'm literally having a conversation with this Netflix program. Should I feel personally attacked right now? haha

Thank you very much. ^^ Is there something particular about it you likes so I can use that to inform my future drawings?

I really love the shading and details of the dress. Also loving the clean lineart and the hearts are a nice touch!

Oh, thank you! The shading was done interestingly. I used a dying pink Crayola marker for the base color of the dress and a magenta ballpoint pen for the shading of it. Everything seems to be its own individual medium, haha. I'm glad it looks unified. ^^

I've been playing a lot with different mediums on my doodles. I do eventually want to use all archival materials, such as Copic Markers, but it'll take me time to raise money and collect them. Until then, I make do with what I have and find out what works.
