Tried a new medium -- chalk pastels.
Combined it with ink, my beloved colored pencils, white out, and white gel pen.
White gel pen does NOT like chalk pastels.

I liked how it came out. I'm glad I experimented like I did.
The chalk pastels part was actually quite fun. XD Those are the base colors in the chalk. The shading was done with colored pencils.

The base color was so easy with the chalk pastels, but shading was the hard part. I tried to coordinate the shading to fit the transition of the base colors. Took me hours!

Really, blending was easy. It was shading that was the hard part since I had to constantly coordinate my shading colors with the base color that gradually changes.
Yeah. And I'm not sure how expensive chalk pastels are. I only used the primary colors here.
If we lived in the same area, I'd let you borrow mine to try. XD
