Today in the tea room, and even after, my mind has been wandering elsewhere to sadness. So, I thought back on one of the scrolls we've seen in the tokonoma which reads, translated, "Just drink tea." Sensei tells us that it references the story of a tea master who told his student to ask his guests questions which identified them, and then to invite each of them to tea just the same. Today I remember this phrase and apply it to just doing what needs to be done, in a present manner. Just draw. It doesn't have to be perfect. Just draw.
I do not like the drawing in the end, but I feel better for having made it.

Aw that's so cute! It reminds me of your group @cute-in-a-cup
(lol sorry terrible pun I know)
But still... That is so wise!
"Just draw. It doesn't have to be perfect. Just draw."
I should apply that saying now, because I'm feeling sad and lethargic.
