DigiChibi Process by NasikaSakura DigiChibi Process by NasikaSakura

I felt I had something to prove to my father when he asked me "Who made that?" twice after I told and showed him what I was working on with pixels.

So, here is the process I used to make my DigiChibi. :)
I showed him this to his approval. hehe =w= (YES!!)

I figured this may a well be used as a very simple tutorial to help other make pixeled chibis.

By the way, I had to create that WHOLE blush scale on my own on MS Paint. =___= Took me HOURS!!!
But it blended so well. It makes me proud~ =w=

How do you make the hair? Can I try it?

I just get samples of colors (a pallete) That i want to use. The amin color (base color) I fill in the area that I pixeled as the outline.

Copy and paste that image so now there is two.

Then, starting with your darkest color for the hair, put streaks in the hair where the shading would be. Continue this with your whole pallete of color, keeping in mind where the shadows and highlights should be. Layer many times to make it look like hair. Do not worry if your strands go outside of your outline.

Copy your first image where there was only your base color filled in. Make sure your secondary color (your right mouse click's color) is selected as the bse color, and your paste options enable the secondary color to be transparent (not the default option).

Now, paste over your second picture (where you have drawn the strands). Make sure your pixels line up right. When done right, the only parts of the doll covered up are the outlying stray strands (cleaned up).

Done. :)
